The Neighborhood

The Pistilli Grand Manor is situated in the beautiful neighborhood of Astoria in Queens, New York. Astoria, formerly apart of Long Island City, is bordered by the East River and located in the north western section of the borough. Travelling around Astoria is easy with subway stops at convenient locations, including Ditmars Boulevard and Astoria Park. There are several places of interest around Astoria. Destinations including Kaufman Astoria Studios' Museum of the Moving Image and the Socrates Sculpture Park create wonderful opportunities to explore this unique city. Opened in 1913, this large park boasts some of the most scenic vistas in the area. Residents will also appreciate Astoria Park for its impressive Olympic-sized public pool. Built back in 1936, it is the oldest pool in the Borough.
